There were 15,800 bales on offer in Sydney & Melbourne this week with a 10.5% pass in rate. The Southern indicator finished at 1110 (-31) for the week. Most Fleece types across the board were down 30 – 55cents clean, 19 & 22 micron most affected. Some shorter Merino Fleece wool 55mm – 70mm sold at a premium. Carding wools held firm to slightly better. Bigger offerings in the next 3 weeks will further test the Market. Next week approximately 26,000 Bales will be entered in Sydney, Melbourne & Fremantle.
